Austrian Election Propaganda Leaflets
Theses pamphlets were written, designed and produced by Alois Piperger, a young leader in the Austrian Social Democratic Youth Movement, at Vorwarts in Vienna. These leaflets were created in support of the Austrian Social Democratic Workers' Party for the 1927 Austrian legislative election urging the reader to vote social democrat in the next election to lower the cost of living for the average citizen and taxing the rich at higher rights to attain more social freedom. The leaflets criticize the rival party, the Austrian Christian Social Party, being a conservative and nationalistically minded Catholic party in Austria and it's party leader Ignaz Seipel for it's high taxes and tariffs and it's restrictive social policy.
