USNTS Great Lakes Training Photograph

To the left is an example of what I believe to be a late 1930's or perhaps early 1940's United States Naval Training School photographic aid depicting what each US navy man would have in his possession once in the service. As depicted at the top of the image this particular photograph originates from the USNTS Great Lakes which is likely the Naval Station Great Lakes, the largest naval training installation, located in Great Lakes Illinois. The items depicted in the image range anywhere from the standard uniform accruements to personal hygiene items and underwear. This photograph was obtained from an antique store in the Akron area.

Depicted on the back of this photograph is the titles for a postcard even though it is unlikely that this particular photograph would have actually been used as a post card sent anywhere.
